Our team at Blue Oak Endodontics is dedicated to efficiently and effectively treating your teeth and surrounding tissue and roots. Our understanding and accommodating staff are prepared to serve you with the best treatment possible by our expert endodontist.
Consultation & Scheduling
We prioritize appointments based on a patient’s degree of discomfort. Some teeth needing treatment cause little to no pain at all. For these situations, we schedule the first routine appointment available. Other root canal problems can cause significant pain, and we will make every effort to schedule those experiencing pain as soon as possible.
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done on the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
- Your referral slip (The letter from your doctor to us)
- A list of medications you are presently taking.
- If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
Insurance & Finances
We will provide you with a written fee estimate and financial agreement before initiating any treatment.
If you have dental insurance, Insurance benefits will be verified, and we will inform you what your estimated co-pay amount will be. An estimate of benefits by your insurance company is only that: an estimate. If the insurance payment is less than the estimated benefit, we will bill you for the balance upon completion of treatment. Any payment over the estimated benefit will likewise be refunded upon receipt of the insurance payment.
